Serious incident, Beechjet 400A ES-NXT decomperssion
Tõsine intsident Torsby lennuväljal
31 jaanuaril 2014 toimus AS-i Avies poolt käitatava õhusõidukiga Bae Jetstream 3200, ES-PJR Torsby lennuväljal tõsine lennuohutust mõjutav intsident.
Ohutusjuurdlust viis läbi Rootsi Ohutusjuurdluse Keskus (Swedish Accident Investigation Authority), Eesti OJK osaleb uurimises volitatud esindaja vahendusel.

Loss of separation between Boeing 777-200 and Dassault Falcon 900
Lennuõnnetus õhusõidukiga Aero L-39C Albatros
Juurdluse aruanne:
15.09.2012 kell 18:50 kohaliku aja järgi toimus Hollandis aset lennuõnnetus Eesti registrisse kantud treening- ja aerobaatikalennukiga L-39C Albatros. Mõlemad meeskonnaliikmed katapulteerusid edukalt, lennuk hävis täielikult kokkupõrkel maaga.
Accident, Tartu/Ülenurme
Piper PA 28-235 Cherokee crash-landed on field 3 nm East from EETU airport. During training flight the pilot reported to the loss of oil pressure, few minutes later engine failed. All three persons on board sustained minor injuries. The aircraft was seriously damaged.
Accident is investigated by ESIB.
Serious incident, Pärnu
Danish registered Cessna C337F lost directional control while turning from the runway to taxiway C after landing. Aircraft exited the paved taxiway and collided with the taxiway light basement. The nose gear broke and collapsed, the front propeller and the belly of the aircraft sustained minor damage.
Serious incident, Roma Ciampino
Estonian registered Learjet 60 lost its cargo door on the flight fom Pulkovo (ULLI) to Roma Ciampino (LIRA). The safety investigation is conducted by Italian ANSV, Estonia is participating in investigation as state of register through accredited representative.
Aviation safety investigation
The main task of Estonian Safety Investigation Bureau is to learn from accidents and serious incidents and to make recommendations to avoid similar occurrences in future.
ESIB is permanent and independent investigation bureau in accordance with ICAO Annex XIII and EU regulation 996/2010. The sole objective of the safety investigations is to determine the causes of the accidents or serious incidents, not to apportion any blame or liability. Bureau employs currently one aviation safety investigator.
